The ideal candidate will have current experience with Oracle Manufacturing Applications (eBusiness Suite) and/or Solumina (or equivalent) Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role is ideal for a versatile, self-motivated professional who thrives on solving diverse, high-impact technical challenges in a mfg/production environment. Furthermore, this position will work closely with the dev team to design, implement, integrate, upgrade, optimize, and extend both custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems for critical manufacturing operations. Finally, work scope may also include working with PLM/PDM systems and related data flows into Oracle ERP.

On any given day, you may:

  • Work with the following Oracle Manufacturing Modules to support daily production operations:
    • Quality
    • WIP
    • Bill of Materials/Routings
    • Inventory
    • MSCA (mobile supply chain application)
    • Purchasing
    • Engineering
    • Costing
    • MRP
    • Custom MES applications
  • Configure Oracle and/or MES manufacturing systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues involving both COTS and custom applications
  • Work with BI developers to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
  • Interface data from one system to another (design, mapping, testing, etc.)
  • Elicit and document stakeholder requirements from manufacturing engineering and operations necessary to design and build end-to-end solutions
  • Build and execute test plans for both new applications and existing Oracle and/or MES upgrades
  • Work with stakeholders to onboard new production into Oracle (e.g. presentations, process walk-throughs, communication management, etc.)
  • Research, explore, and apply AI-enabled methods to enhance productivity, increase workflow efficiency, and support the department's modernization strategies
  • Evaluate applications and/or other technologies to enable and advance production operations
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with manufacturing/engineering partners, CIO collaborators, and stakeholders across Sandia - ensuring strong communication, alignment, and customer support

Due to the nature of work, successful candidate must be able to work onsite.
