Position Title: Project Manager
Wage: $120,000 - $150,000/year We're working with a well-established civil engineering firm in St Charles, IL that is looking to add an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to its growing municipal water and wastewater team. The firm has a strong backlog of work and an established municipal client base. They're looking for someone who can take ownership of projects while staying close to the technical engineering work. Project Manager Responsibilities: - Lead municipal water and wastewater projects from planning and design through construction and closeout - Design and coordinate treatment facilities, pump/lift stations, distribution and collection systems, and facility upgrades - Prepare plans, specifications, calculations, reports, cost estimates, and construction documents - Manage schedules, budgets, permitting, client communication, and technical deliverables - Work directly with municipalities, utility districts, regulators, contractors, and internal engineering teams - Mentor developing engineers and help strengthen long-term client relationships Requirements for Project Manager: - 10+ years of civil engineering experience preferred for the Project Manager level - Active P.E. license for Project Manager candidates - Strong municipal water/wastewater engineering background - Experience taking projects through design, permitting, bidding, and construction - Municipal or public-sector consulting experience strongly preferred - Open to experienced Project Engineers who are ready to continue growing toward project management Why Consider It? - Strong backlog and steady municipal project demand - Opportunity to lead projects from concept through construction - 1.5x overtime for hours over 40 - Performance bonus and profit sharing - Strong health and retirement benefits - Clear opportunity to grow into greater client and project leadership IND345 Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has the resources of a large company but the feel and personalized customer service of a small one.
