Product Owner + Business Analyst We are seeking an experienced
Product Owner / Business Analyst with
6+ years of Product Owner experience in Agile environments. The successful candidate will own and prioritize the team backlog, define clear user stories, and ensure development teams deliver the right capabilities in the right sequence to support business objectives. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, developers, and vendors, translating business needs into actionable technical and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, maintain, and prioritize the team/product backlog based on business goals, priorities, and requirements.
- Develop and refine user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for Agile development teams.
- Ensure teams build the right features in the appropriate sequence and remain aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, software/hardware development teams, and vendors.
- Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into technical and functional requirements.
- Partner closely with development teams to ensure systems and applications meet defined business needs and specifications.
- Participate in and support Agile/Scrum activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements discussions.
- Apply relevant business and domain knowledge to improve collaboration between business and technology teams.
- Continuously improve the quality and speed of requirements gathering and requirements development.
- Provide business systems and software support for system modifications, implementations, and conversions.
- Use Jira and other Agile tools to support backlog, user story, and delivery management.
- Leverage Oracle SQL/PLSQL skills to support business and system analysis activities as required.
- Use data and reporting tools such as Tableau to support analysis where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner within Agile teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles and practices.
- Proven experience with backlog management, user stories, requirements gathering, and prioritization.
- Strong Business Analyst capabilities with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders, developers, technology teams, and vendors.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Desired Skills
- Strong business acumen within financial services and/or technology organizations.
- Experience with Tableau.
- Strong understanding of technology functions and business systems.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology delivery.

Salary Range- $95,000-$105,000 a year
