Salesforce Business Data Analyst with ETL
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, with approximately 3+ years of Salesforce-related experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM concepts and business processes.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Advanced SQL experience; ability to build basic queries to profile and validate data.
- Strong knowledge and experience in automation, regression, and end-to-end testing for ETL.
- Experience with Python and PySpark.
- Basic understanding of database platforms and utilities to enable translation of business requirements to technical requirements.
- Basic understanding of ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) disciplines.
- Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, integrations, and data migration concepts is advantageous.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to independently find answers prior to asking for help.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Commercial Lending knowledge preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Salesforce Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Scrum teams to understand business objectives and requirements.
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process-discovery sessions.
- Analyze as-is business processes and define optimized to-be processes using Salesforce capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements; create BRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Good understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, roles, profiles, and permission sets.
- Work within Agile/Scrum delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Build SQL queries to conduct data profiling and create validation scripts using Python.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range - $100,000-$118,000 a year #LI-OJ1
