Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills * Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. * Configure the VLAN's in the Fabric network and private switches as per BU requirement. * Configure the new private switches based on BU plan and provide authentication to the user as per role activities. * Configure and optimize BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), OSPF, and IS-IS to manage internet edge routing, multi-homed ISP connections, and internal data center paths. * Working with project managers to support the Lab and Data center migration and upgrades. * Involves in the network switch upgrades and do the patches as part of the compliance. * Troubleshoot and resolve the network related issues at TOR and Fabric level network. * Maintain the Lab and Datacenter network infrastructure and coordinate with BU's. * Log rack elevations, serial numbers, port mapping, and hardware warranty statuses. * Perform on-site physical interventions, visual hardware checks, link testing, and component replacements. * Monitor firewall rules, manage VPNs, patch system vulnerabilities, and enforce cybersecurity standards. * Resolve connectivity problems, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and provide tier-III Users support.
