The Division of IT, Enterprise Service Management Database Programmer Analyst position is responsible for the development, configuration, integration, administration, and operational support of the University of Missouri's Enterprise Service Management platform. As a member of the Enterprise Service Management development and administration team, this position designs, develops, implements, and maintains technical solutions supporting service management processes for campus IT organizations and University departments.

Primary responsibilities include the development, configuration, and administration of TeamDynamix capabilities, including the Client Portal, Service Catalog, Ticketing, Asset Management, Knowledge Management, reporting, dashboards, forms, workflows, automation rules, approval processes, notifications, templates, and related platform functionality. The position also designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains TeamDynamix iPaaS solutions, including forms, flows, connectors, authentication, data transformations, conditional logic, error handling, and reusable integration components.

The position creates and supports integrations between TeamDynamix and University or third-party systems using APIs, web services, webhooks, vendor-provided connectors, and other supported technologies to automate processes and exchange, transform, synchronize, and orchestrate data across enterprise applications.
The developer works closely with ESM team members, campus IT professionals, application owners, vendors, and departmental stakeholders to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, maintainable, and supportable solutions. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation, evaluating technical approaches, preparing solution designs, estimating development effort, completing development and configuration, conducting technical testing, coordinating user acceptance testing, implementing approved solutions, facilitating knowledge transfer, and developing technical and end-user documentation.

The position provides ongoing administration and operational support for the Enterprise Service Management environment, including monitoring application, workflow, integration, and overall platform health; analyzing performance; troubleshooting application, authentication, integration, and data-related issues; correcting defects; and performing routine system maintenance. The developer also supports platform upgrades and releases, maintains technical configurations and documentation, and participates in an on-call rotation to support the availability and reliability of Enterprise Service Management services. Solutions must appropriately address security, authentication and authorization, data access, accessibility, monitoring, error handling, operational support, and long-term maintainability.
Work is organized using Agile development practices and delivered through established development, testing, change, and release processes. The position requires strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills, sound technical judgment, effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities. The developer is expected to take ownership of solutions throughout their lifecycle, from requirements and technical design through development, production implementation, ongoing support, and continuous improvement, while contributing to platform standards and development practices that promote security, reliability, consistency, and maintainability.
