Warehouse Associate

Areas of Responsibility:

* Able to work effectively with little or no supervision, staying on task

* Report to work when scheduled, directly affecting delivery and customer service scores

* Perform work in a safe manner according to safety policies and procedures, preventing injury to self and others

* Perform work in efficient manner to reduce costs, measured by amount of time worked compared to amount of time allotted for product to be completed

* Perform other duties as assigned to meet needs of the business

Main Tasks:

* Receiving incoming raw material and matching up the packing slips in SAP

* Properly identify product with labels and/or markings

* Operate forklift to place material from trailers into storage location at warehouse

* Identify nonconforming parts/products and verbal communication to Supervisor or team Leader

Main Tasks Descriptions:

* Attention to detail and able to perform SAP transactions accurately and ensure trucks are loaded correctly

* Able to pull and pick orders accurately

* Read and understand all written instructions to produce product

* Listen to and understand all verbal instructions to produce product

* Perform required inspections with appropriate tools

* Record receiving results on required forms

* Lift 50 Ibs up to shoulders. 35Ibs above shoulders, and assist in lifting 51-90 Ibs or bulky items

Special Requirements:

* Stand, kneel, ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs carrying product throughout shift

* Work with chemicals and fiberglass material

* Basic computer skills

* Report to work when scheduled, directly affecting delivery and customer service scores

* Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
