Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Endur Accounting Business Analyst with hands-on expertise designing, configuring, and implementing accounting functionality within Openlink Endur, not simply using the system. This role requires a strong understanding of energy trading accounting, financial reporting, settlements, and reconciliation processes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience translating Finance and Accounting requirements into scalable Endur solutions within complex Oil & Gas, Power, or broader Energy trading environments.
Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of Endur Accounting functionality supporting energy trading and financial operations.
Partner with Accounting, Finance, Trading, Risk, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Translate accounting and financial reporting requirements into functional specifications, Endur configurations, workflows, reports, and integration requirements.
Configure and maintain Endur accounting rules, accounting treatments, posting logic, and associated workflows.
Support accounting processes across the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, valuation, invoicing, settlements, accruals, journal entries, and period-end close.
Analyze and improve accounting reconciliation processes across Endur, general ledger, settlement, and downstream financial systems.
Support the design and validation of Endur reports, interfaces, integrations, and accounting-related system enhancements.
Lead or support system testing, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and production validation.
Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, configuration documentation, and user guides.
Assist with controls related to financial reporting, data integrity, audit requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
