Are you a seasoned SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) expert ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our client's team and play a pivotal role in shaping their asset management strategies. In this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP EAM solutions, directly influencing operational efficiency, asset reliability, and the strategic direction of key business functions. Your work will drive the successful integration of advanced asset management capabilities, ensuring robust and scalable systems that support long-term growth and innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Lead hands-on functional configuration and design for SAP EAM, including PM/SM and PS modules.
  • Drive full life cycle SAP EAM implementations, from initial business requirements gathering and workshops to gap analysis, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, training, and post go-live support.
  • Contribute significantly to the implementation and execution of SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance processes by assessing current states, identifying customer requirements, and defining future state solutions.
  • Translate detailed business requirements into comprehensive systems design documents and ensure their successful implementation within SAP.
  • Capture critical business capability requirements, functional requirements, and expected service levels to create EAM solutions that align with a strategic business-IT roadmap.
  • Collaborate with EAM architects and support leadership in identifying and integrating emerging technologies to enable business strategies, providing advisory insights on their impact.
  • Ensure the integrity and alignment of business and functional requirements throughout the entire development and configuration process.
  • Act as a crucial liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, project management, and the technical team, facilitating clear communication and solution revisions.
  • Manage engagement risks and economics, including planning, budgeting, accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and securing buy-in for proposed solutions from business owners.
  • Guide and validate complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions, ensuring that any deviations from standard functionality are well-justified and provide positive value.
  • Provide expert consulting services for both new implementations and ongoing support projects.
  • Offer ad-hoc training and user support as needed to empower end-users.
  • Work autonomously and independently, often serving as a subject matter mentor to more junior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in designing, customizing, testing, implementing, and managing enterprise asset management solutions/systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in a minimum of 2 full-cycle greenfield/brownfield SAP implementations.
  • Proven experience with converting new acquisitions/mergers into existing technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with current technology implementation patterns and best practices.
  • Exceptional persuasive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form, to diverse audiences including technical and non-technical peers.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of integrating SAP enterprise modules (e.g., CRM, MM, FI) with EAM and various 3rd party applications.
