To date, the Center has exonerated more than fifty innocent people from states around the country, and it has successfully advocated for early release from unfair sentences for many others. Our work includes direct representation in both court and clemency proceedings, public-facing advocacy, and, as appropriate, policy reform and the production of scholarship.
