Key Responsibilities
Social Media Ownership
- Own enterprise social media channels across all brands and initiatives as the single point of accountability
- Maintain social strategy, publishing calendars, and platform-specific approaches
- Schedule and publish content; monitor engagement and manage community interactions
- Establish and manage social media governance - content review, approvals, and brand consistency across channels
- Track social performance and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations
Content Creation (social-first)
- Create and capture engaging, platform-native content - short-form video, reels, photography, and behind-the-scenes
- Write social captions, digital copy, and supporting messaging across multiple brands
- Identify and capture meaningful stories, projects, and moments across the organization
- Stay current on social trends, formats, and best practices
- Coordinate with the Content & Multimedia Manager, who owns higher-production video, brand films, and training content; this role focuses on quick-turn, social-first capture rather than long-form production
Campaign & Cross-Team Support
- Support paid social execution in coordination with the Director of Marketing and our third-party paid partner; partner with the Director of Marketing on email and analytics
- Contribute content and ideas to campaigns, events, internal communications, and culture initiatives
Scope Boundaries for Social Media & Content Coordinator
To keep lanes clear across the team:
- Higher-production video, brand films, and training content - owned by the Content & Multimedia Manager
- Email and analytics - and paid media strategy - owned and set by the Director of Marketing
- This role owns organic social and social-first content end to end

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in social media management and content creation
- Experience managing social media platforms for brands or organizations
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Hands-on experience capturing and editing photo and video content
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT in a professional setting - for drafting, ideation, and content iteration - with the judgment to keep brand voice, accuracy, and approvals intact
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Experience with short-form video and reels creation
- Experience working across multiple brands or business units
- Familiarity with paid social advertising platforms
