Location: Carmel, IN

This role is built for someone who brings strong judgement, operates effectively in fast-moving situations, and translates complex strategies and data into compelling narratives, presentations and visuals that align with MISO's priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver high-quality executive-level content, including PowerPoint presentations, briefing notes, talking points, and fact sheets, that clearly communicate strategies and data.

Shape and own the narrative for assigned portfolios, proactively framing issues and surfacing story opportunities.

Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to identify, gather, and translate complex information into actionable communications.

Ensure messaging consistency, alignment, and brand adherence across departments.

Participate in emergency on-call rotations to support urgent communications needs.

What You Bring

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 5+ years in communications or 7+ years in a combination of communications, industry, or business roles.

Industry Experience: Energy sector experience preferred.

Tools: Advanced PowerPoint skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, Copilot. General design skills and data visualization.

Skills: Strong writing, storytelling, visual communication and executive engagement capabilities.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $111,000-$136,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
