About the Role

We are seeking a strategic thinker ready to bring exciting products to market. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of strategic merchandising and assortment planning, directly influencing what consumers see and experience. You will play a critical part in transforming deep consumer insights into compelling product offerings, ensuring that assortments are not only perfectly segmented but also deliver true differentiation and drive significant incremental growth. Your expertise will directly contribute to crafting profitable, consumer-right assortments that optimize product placement and overall market strategy, leaving a lasting mark on the industry.

What You'll Do

• Lead the finalization of category assortment plans, adeptly resolving any issues related to product flow, pricing, and distribution decisions.
• Ensure that the overarching category vision for assortments is effectively translated to the retail floor, resulting in product offerings that are both profitable and deeply consumer-centric.
• Optimize the planning and strategic placement of products within appropriate formats to maximize their market impact and reach.
• Contribute significantly to in-season management, pre-season planning, and the successful execution of product assortments.
• Develop and deliver insightful post-season recaps and business analyses to internal audiences, critically informing future strategies and decisions.
• Actively engage in comprehensive consumer insights analysis, meticulous assortment planning, robust Go-to-Market strategies, and effective product management activities.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated direct team and a wider cross-functional group to achieve shared objectives and drive collective success.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience in merchandising, planning, or a similar strategic role.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Alternatively, the following combinations of education and experience will be considered: PhD or Law degree + 3 years; Master's degree + 4 years; Associate's degree + 6 years; High School Diploma + 7 years.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for clear and impactful presentations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational abilities, ensuring precision in all tasks.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• High degree of adaptability and the ability to pivot to different responsibilities as business needs evolve.
• Solid retail business acumen, coupled with a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Apple Keynote.
