Job Duties
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as assigned and qualified.
- Support warehouse operations across multiple departments, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and material handling.
- Load, unload, move, and organize products within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow all warehouse procedures.
- Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to meet productivity goals.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as needed to support business operations.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is preferred, may be required in other departments assignments
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
- Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
- Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
- Forklift experience preferred and may be required depending on department assignment.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, picking, packing, inventory control, or order fulfillment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associates.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
- Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and moving throughout the facility regularly.
