A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Provide in-depth application and business consultation in targeted processes.
  • Analyze customers' business requirements objectives, and develop business processes to meet customers' business needs.
  • Model to-be business processes in the Infor application.
  • Document and communicate the planned use of the Infor application.
  • Apply Infor implementation methodology and assist customers in using available tools to deploy the Infor solution efficiently.
  • Prepare weekly status reports for Infor and client project management.
  • Work as an integral part of the project team - coordinating activities with Infor project manager and working effectively with customer and Infor team members of all levels.
  • Provide business process expertise and application configuration expertise in the following business process areas: Inbound Receiving, Putaway, Order Selection, Inventory Control, Outbound Shipping, Inventory Processes, Material Handling Equipment.
  • Work with Infor WMS warehouse management system built on the cloud and is designed to streamline warehouse operations through advanced inventory management, labor management, 3PL billing and invoicing, 3D visualization, and embedded analytics.
  • Work with Infor Deployment Method comprised of five phases including: Inception, Elaboration, Construction, Transition and Optimize.
Domestic (U.S.) travel required up to 50% for site visits, reviewing operations, gather requirements, support testing activities and go-lives. Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.

Basic Qualifications:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Consultant-related occupation.
Position requires demonstrable experience with the following:
  • Demonstrable experience enabling the core business processes in Warehouse Management to build customer specific blueprints, function specification document to layout the design of a customized solution, design template to identify the different categories of process between unique, differentiators and gaps to existing solution design. Technical skills required from database management and query analytics, along with memory and software management.
  • Demonstrable ability creating extensibility rules to support the implementation of JAVA changes to the base code.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of how to implement warehouse robotics, including VLM, carousels, robotics and autostore technologies to enhance the capabilities of customers in the warehouse space.
  • Demonstrable ability to use various process mapping tools including Visio and PowerPoint; Transportation Management Systems plan and schedule shipments and Small Parcel Systems integrate with companies including UPS and FedEx for shipments.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of how to apply AI technology in the form of robotic process automation and process intelligence.
  • Understanding of how to apply data mining technology to assist the customer in understanding their operational efficiencies and challenges.
  • Awareness of key KPIs customer need to understand warehouse performance and creating these reports in a reporting tool.
  • Knowledge and experience on how Cloud systems operate and their respective infrastructures
  • Understanding of Project Management principles and methodologies to facilitate the ability to track progress and potential challenges.
