Position Summary:
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville invites applications for a tenure-track position in Analytical or Physical Chemistry. This a full-time, nine-month, benefits eligible position starting in August 2027. There may be an opportunity to begin in January 2027. Teaching responsibilities include lecture and lab courses in general chemistry, and upper-level courses in analytical chemistry. Curriculum development in analytical chemistry is expected. The successful candidate is expected to establish an independent research program that involves undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities include seeking external funding for undergraduate research, contributing to Departmental emphases related to forensic science applications and programming, assisting with instrument maintenance, academic advising, performing committee service and other duties as assigned. Chemistry Department closely with students and provide several opportunities for undergraduate research.
