Description Medical Group Practices Nursing/Clinical Support Join a friendly, specialty nephrology practice with exceptional interdisciplinary teamwork, supporting a team of 19 providers. This is a Monday-Friday position with no weekends or oncall requirements, and MaineHealth holidays off, offering an excellent work-life balance. The Medical Assistant or Clinical Team Assistant will provide primarily clinical support to office providers, including rooming patients for inperson visits by gathering and updating medical information, preparing patients for telehealth appointments, and maintaining ongoing communication with patients regarding provider instructions. The role also involves close collaboration with nursing staff on clinical questions and triage issues, as well as supporting clinical projects such as lab entry, prior authorizations, and referral processing. The ideal candidate is friendly, eager to learn new skills, adaptable, and a strong team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative, patientcentered environment. Position Summary: Medical Assistant The Medical Assistant (MA) role is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. The Medical Assistant (MA) role functions under the license of the physician/advanced practice practitioner when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities. Position Summary: Clinical Team Assistant: The Clinical Team Assistant (CTA) is responsible for performing daily patient service functions to support the clinical team in the delivery of patient care. The pay range for theclinical team assistantposition is $20.27to $24.36 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
