Summary The Supplier Quality Engineer develops and implements policies, procedures, and practices to ensure external vendors and raw material suppliers consistently meet company and regulatory quality standards. This role includes evaluating supplier facilities, processes, and quality systems, as well as supporting supplier and part certification efforts. The engineer analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects, working to prevent recurrence and future issues. They also lead root cause investigations and coordinate corrective actions for supplier-related problems. Incumbent in this role is considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline with a full understanding of area of specialization. May assist less-experienced peers. Represent the stage that a person will stabilize in their career and may stay at this level many years. Position requires professional degree in a single discipline with typically 5 years of related experience. Qualifications and Education Requirements
Security Responsibilities Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
