About the Opportunity: Assists in establishing, controlling and maintaining a system of quality assurance which will ensure the manufacture of products which conform to all requirements.

Location: Eastford, CT - 100% Onsite

This is a full-time role 2nd shift. 3:30 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities:

    • Assume all responsibility of primary supplier delegate for all product release activity.
    • Check visual and dimensional characteristics of products to ensure they meet customers' requirements.
    • Declare and document any non-conformity.
    • Ensure First Article Inspection Report has been approved by the customer.
    • Check documents and packaging requirements for each shipment
    • Participate in cross-functional teams in the investigation and elimination of causes of quality problems and follow-up on corrective actions.
    • Monitor and analyze, as required, to ensure all processes remain in control, and products conform to all customer requirements.
    • Review and assure compliance with customer blueprints, specifications and other technical documents.
    • Assists in submitting and disposition of non-conforming material internally and/or from the customer
    • Perform root cause analysis of identified issues and identify appropriate corrective and preventive action.
    • Work as required with customer or supplier representatives to ensure all quality requirements are satisfied
    • Responsible for counting, packaging, and computer transactions within Visual and Customer Portals, inventory control and shipping of product
    • Count and package marked parts in accordance with Whitcraft marking card and Customer Specification.
    • Pre-pack to Ship on Schedule (SOS) per Customer Requirements
    • Working from customer requirements, package parts and generate packing slips and labels and forward to respective customer release agent for final review and sign off.
    • Record final execution and mode of transportation for shipment
    • Maintain inventory in SOS computer inventory system
    • Maintain records, both digitally and physically, for all outgoing shipments

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Manufacturing experience
  • Attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
