Responsible for providing clinical expertise and training to Sales Representatives and healthcare providers in clinical settings such as operating rooms or sterile processing departments. Assists with troubleshooting product issues and collaborates with internal teams and healthcare providers to improve product knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as a subject matter expert and provides support for customers and internal employees.
  • Provides expert guidance and support to medical teams during procedures, ensuring the safe and effective use of products.
  • Assists Sales Representatives with product preparation by ensuring all equipment is ordered and at the account prior to arrival.
  • Plans training for the OR and/or SPD staff by coordinating with OR/SPD Manager or Educator on RW products and equipment.
  • Provides follow-up with Sales Representatives and customers to ensure a successful outcome and address any issues.
  • Develops and maintains deep knowledge of Richard Wolf products and the competitive landscape, acting as the go-to expert for clinical inquiries.
  • Assists in developing training materials (as needed) with the direction of the Clinical Services Manager, Clinical Educator and/or Marketing Manager/Associate.
  • Provides in-depth training on specific medical products to Sales Representatives, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conducts assessments to identify training requirements and gaps in product knowledge.
  • Works closely with Sales Representatives, Marketing teams, and physicians to support product launches, improve clinical processes, build or update educational materials to meet business objectives.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 50-70% travel needed (local and overnight stays, including 12-15 weekends per year) for conventions, major meetings, key physicians/customer or for additional training.
  • Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Services Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in a health care related field or relative job experience that is comparable to the same.
  • Three years' experience in the healthcare field.
  • Experience in the operating room with OR protocol and knowledge of reprocessing.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in all related disciplines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex clinical information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with Sales Representatives, key opinion leaders, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work with a variety of different customers and personalities.
  • Basic PC skills and familiarity with MS Office suite products.
  • Success in training extensively (80-90% of the time).
  • Experience with and understanding of multi-cultural and multi-generational differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
