The Account Insight Manager (AIM) partners with a Consultative Account Manager (CAM) to support an assigned book of business within the National Accounts segment. In addition to providing support, this position delivers technical, data-driven insights that shape client solutions and renewal strategies. This role owns the delivery of end-to-end analytics and reporting support across an assigned book of business, including requirements intake, data extraction and validation, metric definition, and analysis (e.g., trend/variance analysis, utilization and performance drivers) to inform renewal strategies, client solutions/insights, and retention/upsell opportunities. The AIM utilizes dashboards and develops recurring deliverables, ensuring data quality, documentation, and consistent methodologies across sources and reporting periods. The role coordinates internal cross-functional workstreams, managing timelines, stakeholders, dependencies, and approvals to deliver client-ready materials on time. The position translates complex findings into clear narratives and executive-ready presentations while proactively managing risks, assumptions, and follow-ups. This position is responsible for consistent monitoring of performance metrics and Performance Guarantee dashboards to inform the CAM, management, clients, and internal stakeholders of emerging trends. The successful candidate will also perform administrative duties in support of the CAM and the book of business. This position has client-facing responsibilities with limited travel requirements.


  • Partners with the Consulting Account Manager to support client renewal strategy by delivering timely, accurate, data-driven insights across an assigned book of business. Works closely with the Consulting Account Manager to understand client goals and renewal drivers, translating business needs into reporting priorities, success measures, and deliverables.
  • Performs data entry services in support of the CAM while the CAM is in the field.
  • Leads end-to-end analytics, including financial and utilization analysis, report development, network analysis, and RFP support. Extracts, validates, and reconciles data from multiple sources; monitors data quality and resolves discrepancies through root-cause analysis and cross-functional follow-up.
  • Defines and documents metrics, calculation logic, and reporting methodologies to ensure consistency across reporting periods and audiences.
  • Coordinates with internal cross-functional partners to secure responses and approvals and manage dependencies; proactively manages risks, assumptions, and open items to meet deadlines and execute initiatives.
  • Performs analysis (e.g., trend and variance analysis, utilization and performance drivers) to identify insights that inform renewal decisions, retention risk, and upsell opportunities.
  • Builds, maintains, and enhances dashboards and recurring reporting packages; automates and standardizes where feasible to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Translates complex analytical findings into clear narratives, executive-ready presentations, and client-ready materials, tailoring messaging to stakeholder needs.
  • Supports the Consulting Account Manager in managing the client relationship cadence (e.g., renewal touchpoints, business reviews), helping to prepare for and lead relevant portions of client meetings and ensure client expectations are clearly set and met. May interact directly with clients and is responsible for keeping the CAM informed and entering information into Salesforce CRM in a timely manner.
  • Proactively communicates updates, timelines, and key insights to clients in partnership with the Consulting Account Manager; triages questions, resolves issues, and escalates risks as needed to protect deliverables and renewal outcomes.
  • 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced business math and analytical skills with the ability to position financial outcomes that contribute to revenue goals across an assigned portfolio.
  • Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to embrace change, operate in ambiguity, and approach challenges with a growth mindset.
  • Ability to meet specific deliverables within an environment of tight deadlines and considerable pressure.
  • Skilled at working independently and resourcefully with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization and influence internal stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight travel, use a personal vehicle, and cover business expenses until reimbursed.
  • Strong technology proficiency and a willingness to adapt to emerging technologies. Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query/Power Pivot, data modeling, and automation/macros); proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce CRM; and advanced knowledge of AI/machine learning and automation to streamline reporting and drive insights.

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
