This is your opportunity to make a difference for you and your family. Come join our team! The Manager, Finance Operations is a hands-on execution role that carries out the Finance technology roadmap and process improvement priorities set by the Director, Finance Operations. This role is a day-to-day point of contact for Finance system implementation execution, escalated support, master data governance, working directly with IT, and Finance business owners to turn approved priorities into working solutions. Where the Director sets direction, secures alignment, and owns strategic tradeoffs, this role owns the detailed requirements, configuration, testing, documentation, and adoption work that makes those priorities real. Responsibilities of Position:
- Serve as the escalation point (outside of business owners and IT) for Finance system support and troubleshooting, resolving issues and escalating strategic or roadmap-level items to the Director
- Support execution of Finance system implementations and enhancements approved on the Finance roadmap, working directly with IT teams on configuration, build, and deployment
- Partner with the IT teams to translate business requirements - defined by the Director and Finance business owners - into functional and technical specifications
- Help maintain, with IT's technical assistance, the integrity of interfaces between SAP and key business systems (Medius, Blackline, cieTrade, Salesforce), monitoring data flows and escalating interface issues for timely resolution
- Own day-to-day execution of SAP master data governance standards established by the Director, including maintenance of chart of accounts, profit/cost centers, and org hierarchies
- Communicate Finance master data additions and updates to cross functional business members including IT, Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Safety and Engineering
- Process and validate master data change requests in accordance with established approval workflows, routing exceptions to the Director for review
- Monitor data quality through periodic audits and reviews; flag anomalies, gaps, or recurring issues to the Director for governance-standard updates
- Create process documentation, workflows, and job aids for new or changed Finance processes during implementation, then hand off to the relevant business process owner for ongoing maintenance once the process is stable and adopted
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of system data flows and configurations on an ongoing basis, ensuring this technical documentation remains accurate as systems evolve - this responsibility stays with this role even after process-level documentation is handed off to the business
- Conduct periodic reviews with business stakeholders following the rollout of a new or enhanced process, to confirm it is being followed as designed during the post-launch stabilization period
- Monitor for drift back to legacy workarounds or informal shortcuts tied specifically to a recent implementation or enhancement, and work with stakeholders to course-correct before the process transitions to business-as-usual
- Perform other duties as assigned
