Position SummaryThe Center for Stable Isotopes is looking for an undergraduate student
to help with the following duties: preparation of samples for isotopic
measurements, supporting technical staff and graduate students with various
experimental procedures.

The student is expected to have the ability to learn the operational
characteristics of the equipment and materials used in a laboratory; to perform
duties in an semi-independent manner; learn laboratory techniques and
procedures; understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicate
clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing and establish and maintain
cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of
work.

Preferred Qualifications

* Ability to learn the operational
functions of laboratory equipment.

* Ability to learn laboratory techniques and procedures used with various
sample preparation protocols.

* Ability to follow verbal and written directions and ability to communicate
clearly in order to maintain professional working relationships.
