Job Summary
-
Under the supervision of the O&E Program Manager, the Data Analyst will perform duties including data collection, analysis, reporting, outcomes measurement, trend analysis, technical support, program evaluation and quality improvement functions.
This person will analyze, prepare, and present data for recurring and ad hoc data requests. This person will create reports, dashboards, and presentations to support data-driven decision making for both internal and external stakeholders. The Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining reporting manuals and will be committed to best practices in data analysis processes. This person will assist in program evaluation through outcomes development, assistance in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects, and process and outcome evaluations. The Data Analyst will use data to make recommendations for improvement initiatives, Department goals, and increasing the quality of care.
The Data Analyst will serve as a data consultant and technical expert, collaborating with Department management and staff to provide support related to data collection, analysis, data interpretation, outcomes measurement, and software utilization. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of statistics, and experience conducting analyses and evaluating program outcomes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI or similar reporting tools and relational databases and query tools such as SQL.
- The ability to clean and transform data and create clear, organized reports and dashboards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and findings clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn and apply, applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Business, Data Analytics, Program Evaluation or a related field, and at least two (2) years of related work experience preferably in conducting data analysis or program evaluation and managing outcomes for community-based programs or social sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Public Health, Business, Data Analytics, Program Evaluation or a related field.
- Experience evaluating program outcomes.
- Experience using Power BI for data cleaning and transformation.
- Familiarity with navigating electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of or practical experience in community behavioral health settings.
