Information Technology Specialist

Diamond Grove Center l has been providing psychiatric services to the Louisville area for more than 29 years. Diamond Grove Center is an 85-bed facility which provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. Diamond Grove Center offers unique and individualized programming for children and adolescents ages 5-17 years of age, which sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. The Information Technology Specialist will be a key member of Diamond Grove Center leadership team. IT Specialist will manage resources, projects, and tasks of the IT department, as well as manage responsibilities for the operation and administration of the organizations infrastructure, data resources and systems. IT Specialist will troubleshoot complicated technology issues and have excellent customer service skills. IT Specialist will be need to have the ability to think and come up with solutions quickly. The IT Specialist participates in the hospital's strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations mission, vision and values.
  • Responsible for developing and/or implementing the efficient and cost-effective software solutions for a particular problem
  • Clear ability to multitask and handle complex matters with no supervision and with excellent follow up; Maintains effective communication with all hospital departments
  • Responsible for installing and maintaining phones, computers, cameras, proximity system and other network systems; Upgrading the software as well as the hardware systems to solve problems as when they arise
  • Responsible for being on call to assist facility with network emergencies.

Qualifications

Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or Ged.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems(MIS) or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years Experience in IT

Foundational knowledge of data protection, safe network configurations, and basic threat preventions.
