Job Title: Supply Chain Sr. Associate

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Location: Holly Springs, NC 27540 (Onsite)

Description:

Ideal candidate: 1-2 years of relevant experience, see top skillsets.

Schedule will be: 100% Onsite; shift work to align with Manufacturing Operations (12 hour shifts). Must be wiling to work on weekend.

Role Summary

The Supply Chain Technician / Sr Associate will support tactical and operational supply chain activities at the client site, with a focus on production planning, process order execution, warehouse coordination, and material transfer logistics. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate material flow across manufacturing and warehouse operations, while maintaining compliance with cGMP and client procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Support creation, release, and tracking of process orders in SAP.
  • Coordinate with finite scheduling teams to align production plans with material availability and manufacturing capacity.
  • Monitor and adjust planned orders based on real-time constraints and production changes.


Material Coordination & Warehouse Support

  • Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure timely staging, transfer, and reconciliation of materials for production.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, cycle counts, and material movements using SAP and MES systems, including Production Supply areas.


Manufacturing Services Liaison

  • Act as a point of contact between Supply Chain and Manufacturing Services for material transfers, issue resolution, and logistics execution.


Master Data & System Support

  • Ensure accuracy of master data related to materials, BOMs, and WIP in SAP.
  • Support system troubleshooting and suggest improvements for ERP and warehouse systems.


Operational Readiness & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to operational readiness workstreams.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce supply chain risks.



Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning or warehouse coordination in a regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MES, and other ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to dynamic production environments.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with finite scheduling and process order management.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, and supply chain systems.
  • Prior experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing or logistics.



Basic Qualifications

High school/GED + 2 years work experience OR? Associates and 6 months work experience OR? Bachelors

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:

  • SAP/S4Hana experience
  • GMP Biotech/Pharma experience
  • GMP Material Inventory Management



Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Approve or support individual material Transfer Requests (TRs).
  • Perform or provide backup support for material wipe-down/wipe-in activities.
  • Support physical material verification, inventory checks, and labeling.
  • Maintain visibility and traceability of materials and production kits within the kitting area.
  • Coordinate and execute material movement and handoff to Manufacturing.
  • Support SAP/MES transactions associated with material movement and inventory accuracy.
  • Identify and implement improvements to material flow, handoffs, and operational processes.
  • Perform activities in accordance with applicable cGMP requirements, SOPs, JHAs, and training requirements.
