Tharros provides support for the execution of various USAF and Joint exercises for ShOC-N and we are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team. In support of these efforts, you will be responsible for translating requirements into functional briefings and documentation of projects, exercises, and other operational aspects as required. Additionally, you will gather and validate business / technology requirements to establish scope and parameters of requirements and define project impact, outcome criteria, andmetrics. Key Responsibilities include:
- Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to develop briefings and documents.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements and documents in a clearmanner that is comprehensible to stakeholders and potential customers/users.
- Create systems andbusiness process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team. Interprets user requirements into feasible options and communicate these
back to the business stakeholders. - Manage and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary. Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood. Research, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness andefficiency of existing requirement gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes; quantify potential efficiency opportunities and trackaccordingly.
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; provide help desk support; train users.
- Secret Security Clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret / SCI
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
- Requires 2 - 4 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this
position. Must have 5 years' experience writing documentation and procedural materials for DoD. - Experience with Data Analysis
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Word and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with graphic software like Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to easily assimilate into team and function as integral team member
- Experience in briefing senior level personnel, preferably experience in briefing senior
military personnel at flag level - Preferred experience with JIRA
