Summary
The Senior Specialist, Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of business processes and the supporting software applications. This role drives business value by collaborating with business stakeholders and senior application team members to ensure the efficiency of existing processes while designing enhancements and extensions that align technology with key business needs.
The Analyst should possess deep expertise in business activities and processes within the designated functional area and effectively partner with business teams to ensure IT solutions deliver measurable value.
This role specifically supports Manufacturing Finance and Controlling functions, including Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, Production Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Profit Center Accounting, and financial reporting within these domains.
Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work environment. Employees are expected to come into the office a minimum of 4 days per week. Sponsorship to work in the US is not available at this time.
Responsibilities
Solution Delivery
Business Process Implementation & Enhancement: Collaborates with business stakeholders and senior IT resources to analyze existing business processes, gather requirements, develop functional process designs, and define reporting needs that support management oversight. Process Knowledge & Impact Assessment: Maintains expertise in current process standards within the assigned function. With guidance from senior application team members, evaluates the impact of process changes on the existing environment. Testing & Validation: Translates business requirements, functional designs, and business scenarios into comprehensive test plans that validate processes before implementation. Conducts unit testing to ensure technical solutions align with functional requirements. Works with business stakeholders and senior IT resources to ensure integration testing covers all process variations. Facilitates user acceptance testing, identifies impacts to related processes, and performs regression testing as needed. Business Process Support: Ensures critical business processes function effectively by maintaining application capabilities required to support business operations. Resolves production issues while adhering to IT standards and protocols. Documentation & Process Design: Develops and maintains business process documentation, including process overviews, detailed functional specifications, and visual aids such as process flows. Updates documentation as processes evolve and tailors content to the appropriate audience. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conducts training for business users on new process implementations and shares best practices to promote effective and efficient use of software applications.
Business Partnering
Stakeholder Collaboration & IT Liaison: Builds strong collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and serves as a key IT point of contact. Manages expectations and bridges IT and the business to ensure alignment on technology initiatives. Technology Initiative Intake & Roadmap Development: Supports intake and prioritization of business technology initiatives. Partners with business stakeholders, IT Solution Architects, and IT Leadership to define roadmaps and advance initiatives through project intake and assessment processes. Maximizing IT Services for Business Value: Understands IT service offerings and works with IT Leadership and business stakeholders to optimize their use and prioritize initiatives based on business impact. Strategic IT Alignment: Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and IT Leadership to ensure technology initiatives align with enterprise strategy.
Quality Systems Leadership: Act as subject matter expert for Quality Management System platforms. Provide guidance on system capabilities, best practices, and regulatory expectations. Support governance of controlled processes and validated applications.
Business Process Analysis: Analyze business workflows and identify optimization opportunities. Facilitate process mapping, requirements gathering, and impact assessments. Translate business needs into technical solutions.
Compliance & Validation: Support computerized system validation activities. Maintain documentation required for compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures. Ensure system changes are implemented in accordance with quality, validation, and change management processes.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with software vendors regarding incidents, enhancements, upgrades, and support activities. Build strong partnerships across Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and IT functions.
Project Delivery: Participate in quality systems projects, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives. Coordinate testing, training, deployment, and hypercare activities.

Education & Work Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 5-8 years of related experience
Education & Work Preferences
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
* 5 years of experience supporting Quality Management Systems, Document Management Systems, or regulated business applications.
* Experience administering enterprise platforms in regulated environments.
* Experience gathering business requirements and supporting software implementations.
* Experience supporting computerized system validation activities.
* Medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industry experience preferred.
* Experience with BIOVIA, Dassault, EDMS, Process Compliance, Compliance Unity, MasterControl, Veeva, TrackWise, or similar platforms preferred.

- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
- This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
