Introduction The EHS&S Translation Coordinator supports the Global EHS&S team by coordinating the translation and localization of EHS&S standards, documents, learning, and reference materials for Vylor's global workforce. The primary focus of this role is managing translation workflows through the Phrase Translation Management System (TMS), coordinating translation validation, preparing localized learning and communication materials, and publishing final approved content to ETQ Reliance, SharePoint, the Learning Management System (LMS), and other designated platforms. Education and Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in communications, education, instructional design, translation, language studies, business, or a related field preferred.
- Translation, localization, or related certification is a plus.

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with a Translation Management System (TMS), preferably Phrase.
- Experience coordinating translation or localization projects.
- Experience working with multilingual content and global audiences.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar applications.
- Experience formatting documents, presentations, e-learning, or video content for multiple languages.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SharePoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with translation tools such as Deepl, Trados, or other CAT tools.

Responsibilities Translation Coordination
- Manage EHS&S translation projects using the Phrase Translation Management System (TMS), including initiating projects, monitoring progress, coordinating reviews, and completing workflows.
- Prepare source content and supporting materials for translation.
- Coordinate with translation validators to ensure translated content accurately reflects the intent, terminology, and requirements of the source content.
- Incorporate validator feedback and coordinate revisions through final approval.
- Monitor project timelines and communicate status, risks, and potential delays to stakeholders.
- Maintain translation terminology, translation memories, project instructions, and other resources as appropriate.
- Perform quality checks to ensure translated content is complete, accurate, and consistent.
Localization and Content Production
- Format and prepare translated documents, presentations, e-learning courses, videos, and other EHS&S materials for final use.
- Apply approved translations while maintaining the original content's formatting, functionality, structure, and visual integrity.
- Support localization of e-learning and video content, including translated captions, subtitles, graphics, and on-screen text.
- Identify and resolve formatting or technical issues resulting from translation or language expansion.
- Conduct final quality checks prior to publication.
Publishing and Content Management
- Publish finalized and approved translated content to SharePoint, the LMS, and other designated platforms.
- Ensure the correct language version is associated with the appropriate content, audience, and platform.
- Maintain accurate file naming, version control, metadata, and content organization.
- Replace or archive outdated translated materials in accordance with established processes.
Process Improvement and Support
- Maintain and follow EHS&S translation and localization procedures, standards, and work instructions.
- Track translation projects, timelines, workload, and other relevant metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve translation quality, efficiency, and workflow processes.
- Maintain documentation and job aids supporting translation and localization activities.
Support special projects and other Global EHS&S priorities as needed.
