Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic math skills required, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
  • Ability to read and complete production paperwork, labels, and inventory documentation.
  • Understanding of workplace safety procedures and manufacturing standards.


Experience Requirements



  • 1+ years of previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, palletizing, or forklift experience.
  • Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with packaging, labeling, pallet building, and quality control processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with production quotas and deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation procedures, and food safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail when verifying labels, code dates, product counts, and pallet configurations.
  • Ability to identify and communicate equipment or quality issues promptly.
  • Reliable attendance, strong safety record, and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products, boxes, and materials weighing 20 to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with continuous product flow and production demands.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and handle pallets, stretch wrap, and packaging materials.


Job Duties



  • Palletize finished products by transferring packaged goods from conveyors to pallets while maintaining proper product orientation and counts.
  • Operate forklifts and move pallets, packaging materials, and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Verify labels, code dates, box types, pallet configurations, and packaging quality to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
  • Complete production paperwork, tally sheets, maintenance requests, hold tags, and load documentation accurately.
  • Maintain production flow by supplying boxes and materials, monitoring equipment performance, reporting issues, and following all safety, sanitation, and GMP standards.
