Audiovisual (AV) Project Manager Job Summary IES Communications is seeking an experienced Audiovisual (AV) Project Manager to oversee commercial AV installation projects from pre-planning through final closeout. This position is responsible for keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing commercial audiovisual installation projects, understands the construction process, and is comfortable coordinating labor, materials, equipment, clients, installation teams, and multiple project priorities. What You'll Do Manage commercial AV installation projects from pre-planning through project closeout. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, safely, and according to quality standards. Manage day-to-day project operations, schedules, resources, and priorities. Coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and technical resources. Communicate staffing needs and project requirements to management in advance. Coordinate and approve equipment and product purchasing. Conduct site visits during the pre-planning phase. Partner closely with Sales, clients, installation teams, and management throughout the project lifecycle. Lead regular project and team meetings. Track and document project progress, change orders, logistics, and key project events. Oversee pre-commissioning testing and quality control. Manage subordinate employee timecards. Coordinate and/or provide client training. Obtain final client sign-offs upon successful project completion. Travel up to 25%, occasionally with limited advance notice. Min USD $110,000.00/Yr. Max USD $120,000.00/Yr. Qualifications What We're Looking For 2-5+ years of commercial audiovisual installation project management experience, including experience managing projects from pre-planning through closeout. Experience with project financials, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Strong understanding of the construction process and commercial installation environments. Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities, and multiple moving parts. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, internal teams, field personnel, and management. Comfortable making decisions, resolving issues, and taking action to keep projects moving forward. Preferred Qualifications AVIXA/InfoComm CTS certification preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
