Your Impact The Vertex SOX PMO Co-Op is a 6-month experiential training program for students currently working towards a bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting. What you will be doing: This role will support the team by assisting in evaluating and documenting key control/process changes/control findings, supporting the team with process walkthroughs and monitoring the status of various SOX deliverables to internal and external auditors. This role will have the opportunity to collaborate with process owners across multiple teams in the organization (Accounting, Internal Audit, Finance and Human Resources) and will provide an excellent opportunity to gain and understanding of Vertex's financial reporting processes. This role will assist with various ad hoc projects as well (e.g., system implementations, globalization and harmonization efforts). Key Responsibilities:
