A typical day for a MRI Technician may include:

• Assists Physicians as needed
• Assists in the orientation of new staff and/or students
• Competent in the use of RIS & PACS system, and other IT programs utilized.
• Maintains a neat, clean and stocked work area.
• Obtains proper medical history and insures accurate patient demographic and medical information.
• Performs all standard techniques for procedure protocols
• Recognizes the significant of all structures visualized and is able to differentiate normal from abnormal and recognizes artifacts. Understands when to seek advice
• Reports equipment problems to supervising Technologist
• May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.

To be considered for this MRI Technician opportunity, you must:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology or accredited school of MRI technology.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey or American Registry of MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) accepted in conjunction with ARRT
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association
