Recovery Specialist

Catholic Charities Maine St. Francis Recovery Center in Auburn has Part Time & Per-Diem opportunities for Recovery Specialists to provide responsible direct client, non-medical care.

Recovery Specialists are paraprofessional staff members who work closely with residential clients in early recovery from substance use disorders. Recovery Specialists serve as a positive recovery support, while enforcing program rules and agency policies. This rewarding position is primarily evenings, awake overnights, and weekend hours.

Shifts: Saturday & Sunday 8A - 4P; Thursday thru Sunday 4P - 12P. Looking for someone who can be available on weekends.

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Previous experience working with substance use disorders is a plus, and we are willing to train motivated candidates. This is a great opportunity for those with degrees in social behavioral sciences, human services, psychology, and criminal justice who are seeking entry level experience.
