Title:Sales Account Manager * Assume ownership of existing OEM and distributor customer accounts within the team, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of service. * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. * Proactively communicate with customers to understand project timelines, upcoming needs, and changes to specifications. * Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and consistently deliver a high level of customer service. Quoting & Inside Sales * Manage and stay on top of an active quote pipeline, ensuring all quotes are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer specifications. * Review customer drawings, specs, and technical documentation to develop accurate quotations in coordination with engineering and operations teams. * Track quote activity, follow up on open opportunities, and maintain organized records of customer communications and project updates. * Coordinate with internal teams including Project Management, Engineering, and Production to ensure quoted scope is achievable and competitive. Required Skills: * 3-5 years of inside sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Demonstrated ability to manage customer accounts and maintain a high standard of customer service. * Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, or technical documentation. * Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% as required by customer needs. Preferred: * Experience working with OEM or distributor customers in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. * Background in electrical equipment, enclosures, switchgear, or related power/industrial products. * Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or quoting/estimating software. * Demonstrated interest in growing into an outside sales or business development capacity. * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering Technology, or a related field. | |
