Aquent is partnering with a global leader in entertainment and gaming, renowned for creating immersive and beloved experiences that captivate audiences worldwide. This innovative company is at the forefront of bringing iconic franchises to life through dynamic and engaging events, theme park attractions, and location-based entertainment.

Are you a marketing visionary passionate about transforming digital worlds into tangible, unforgettable experiences? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketing professional to drive the brand presence of an incredibly popular gaming franchise's experiential portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping how millions of fans interact with their favorite universe in physical spaces, from theme parks to live events, building lasting brand love and measurable business impact. Your strategic vision and execution will directly contribute to expanding the franchise's global footprint and deepening fan engagement.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and activate brand marketing programs for the experiential portfolio - including theme park lands and attractions, location-based experiences, traveling exhibitions, fan events, and experiential brand activations - that support franchise priorities and business objectives.
  • Partner with experience operators, production companies, venue partners, and creative partners to shape opening campaigns, ongoing marketing programs, and seasonal beats that drive awareness, attendance, and franchise lift.
  • Own end-to-end brand marketing for experiences - from strategy and positioning through go-to-market planning and in-market execution - translating franchise priorities into clear briefs, messaging frameworks, creative direction, and integrated campaigns that resonate with audiences and guests.
  • Build repeatable frameworks, toolkits, and operating models that allow experiences marketing to scale across partners, venues, regions, and franchise moments while upholding a high brand standard in physical environments.
  • Identify and shape opportunities to extend the experience into culture and community - including fan events, conventions, pop-ups, and live moments that cross-promote with other franchise pillars, create earned media, and drive lift back to the franchise.
  • Develop integrated communications plans across owned, earned, paid, partner, retail, and on-site touchpoints - partnering with editorial, social, web, PR, influencer, community, media, and global and regional marketing teams to deliver coordinated, localized execution across priority markets.
  • Manage experiences marketing program operations: scopes, timelines, budgets, contracts, approvals, asset development, on-site and in-venue execution, and reporting.
  • Monitor performance (e.g., attendance, audience growth, brand impact, earned reach), synthesize insights, and contribute to a test-and-learn culture that continuously improves future experiences programs.

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience in theme parks, location-based entertainment, experiential or event marketing, live entertainment, or destination marketing - including direct experience at or alongside best-in-class experience operators or IP holders (e.g., Universal, Disney, Merlin, or comparable theme park, LBE, traveling exhibition, large-scale live event, or experiential agency environments).
  • Proven track record managing operator, venue, production, and agency partnerships - serving as the senior marketing counterpart and balancing brand integrity with commercial outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of place-based and experiential marketing motions - opening campaigns, always-on attendance marketing, seasonal programs, and on-site guest experience marketing - and integrated marketing across owned, earned, paid, partner, retail, and on-site channels.
  • Strong project management skills - able to lead multiple concurrent programs at various lifecycle stages while balancing scope, timelines, and budgets across distributed venues and operators.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills in matrixed environments with external operators and creative partners.
  • Strong business communication, writing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus points for:

  • Direct experience marketing theme park lands, attractions, location-based entertainment, or large-scale live events at IP-led experience operators.
  • Experience marketing global entertainment IP, gaming franchises, or other large multi-category consumer brands across physical and digital touchpoints.
  • Familiarity with player- and fan-driven communities and how to activate experiences that earn cultural relevance and repeat visitation.
