As a Security Officer Museum in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a prominent public cultural location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team culture built on integrity, innovation, and teamwork at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a public cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, offices, loading areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor flow, and restricted areas; verify credentials and direct guests in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
