Location: Suwanee, GA
Schedule/Shift: Typically starts at 7:00 a.m., 45 to 55 hours per week
Pay: $100,000 to $120,000 annually, plus a project based bonus of up to 10%, vehicle allowance, and phone allowance

Job Summary

The Audio Visual Project Manager oversees commercial AV installation projects from presales through closeout across the Atlanta metro area. This role manages project budgets, schedules, field teams, subcontractors, and client communication while ensuring installations meet quality and technical requirements. The position requires strong AV systems knowledge and the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain accurate project records.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage commercial AV projects from proposal and planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, purchase orders, billing schedules, and change orders.
• Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project milestones and quality standards.
• Review project documentation, track progress, and maintain accurate reporting.
• Identify project risks and take corrective action to address schedule, cost, or quality issues.
• Communicate with clients, manage expectations, and support ongoing account relationships.
• Oversee quality checks and confirm that installed systems meet project requirements.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing commercial AV installation projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong technical knowledge of Crestron and Extron systems, DSPs, displays, speakers, cabling, and commissioning.
• Experience managing budgets, proposals, purchase orders, billing schedules, and change orders.
• Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong client communication, organization, documentation, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron, or QSC/Q-SYS certifications are highly preferred.
• Advanced Dante certification is preferred.

• Local travel throughout the Atlanta metro area is required.
• The schedule typically starts at 7:00 a.m. and averages 45 to 55 hours per week.
