Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a high-performance Department of War (DoW) team specialized in providing executive-level support and responsible for driving, integrating, and executing top-level strategic, operational, and communication priorities. The successful candidate will drafting, coordinating, and storing executive-level communications materials, tracking multiple concurrent deliverables, and ensuring technical accuracy. This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide actionable insights to program leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of validated artifact inventory, repository map, access list, version baseline, and open-task list
• Maintain task dashboard to track all organizational taskings, ensuring accuracy of current status, owners, suspense dates, dependencies, and source evidence
• Proactively recommend courses of action to enable rapid response while ensuring quality delivery across all products
• Review existing, approved briefing materials within briefing repository to draft strategic communications materials in support of senior leader engagements
• Maintain current, discoverable briefing products and approved archives, ensuring compliance with repository map, taxonomy, naming convention, roles, and current-product rules
• Upload all developed briefings and working products to designated repository, and ensure task dashboards reflect all finalized, approved products
• Maintain a current-product index, archive register, and quick-recall tags
• Perform repository configuration and version-control audits
• Support coordination of targeted interviews with program, engineering, acquisition, logistics, ad analytics SMEs
• Draft read-aheads, point papers, executive decks, talking points, scripts, town hall presentations, Q&A matrices, and other strategic communications materials
• Maintain updated visibility across all taskings and requirements through regular coordination across the team and with Agency senior leaders

Required Qualifications

• Education:




• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or equivalent experience.




• Skills & Competencies:




• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting the strategic communications and/or executive leader support within the Department of War (DoW)
• Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and sustaining briefing repositories within DoW systems
• Proficiency with establishing, maintaining, and sustaining briefing repositories on Government IT systems to ensure version control, traceability, naming conventions, etc.
• Ability to track multiple, competing deadlines and recommend escalation and/or risk mitigation measures to ensure on-time delivery of highest-priority items
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.




• Clearance:




• Active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.
• Knowledge of Defense Acquisition System processes and program management best practices.
• Experience supporting executive-level program reviews and governance boards.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65,030 - $75,020. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
