The PeopleSoft Tech Analyst III serves as a senior technical resource within the PeopleSoft IT&S team supporting enterprise business applications across RWJBarnabas Health. This position provides advanced PeopleSoft development, application support, technical troubleshooting, system integration, and project leadership.

As a PeopleSoft subject matter expert, the PeopleSoft Tech Analyst III works closely with functional analysts, business partners, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other technical resources to support PeopleSoft applications, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing system operations.

• Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining PeopleSoft SCM and HCM applications
• Developing technical solutions using PeopleCode, SQL, Fluid, Component Interface, Integration Broker, XML Publisher, and related PeopleSoft technologies
• Serving as a senior technical resource for complex PeopleSoft application issues and development needs
• Leading technical projects, developing specifications and project plans, coordinating technical resources, and communicating project status
• Supporting PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, new releases, integrations, interfaces, and application enhancements
• Troubleshooting application issues, performing root cause analysis, and resolving incidents and technical problems
• Managing incidents, service requests, and migration activities through ServiceNow
• Supporting application administration, change control, security, documentation, monitoring, and maintenance activities
• Collaborating with database, infrastructure, operating system, security, and vendor teams to maintain reliable PeopleSoft environments
• Supporting system audits and regulatory compliance requirements, including HIPAA and PCI-DSS

• You are an experienced PeopleSoft technical professional who enjoys solving complex application and integration challenges
• You have deep technical knowledge of PeopleSoft SCM and HCM
• You enjoy serving as a technical lead and subject matter expert while remaining hands-on with development
• You are comfortable balancing application support, development, projects, upgrades, and production issues
• You can prioritize competing technical needs in a fast-paced enterprise environment
• You communicate effectively with technical teams, business partners, vendors, and leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 10-15 years of IT experience, including at least 7 years of PeopleSoft technical development or equivalent work experience
• Strong PeopleSoft SCM and HCM technical development and support experience
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft application design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance
• Experience with SQL, PeopleCode, and PeopleSoft Fluid development
• Experience supporting complex enterprise PeopleSoft applications
• Experience leading technical projects, prioritizing assignments, and coordinating technical work
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable application certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of SQL, PeopleCode, and Fluid development experience
• Experience with PeopleSoft Component Interface, Integration Broker, XML Publisher, and Application Messaging
• Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools, including SQR and PS/Query
• Experience supporting enterprise PeopleSoft implementations and upgrades
• ServiceNow experience
• Healthcare IT experience
• Knowledge of healthcare financial systems and workflows
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and applicable regulatory requirements
