What You'll Do In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations across technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud services, AI-enabled solutions, and other indirect spend categories.
- Develop and execute category strategies that align supplier capabilities with business objectives, operational priorities, and financial goals.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, pricing models, emerging technologies, and AI innovations to identify strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Drive competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, vendor evaluations, demonstrations, contract negotiations, and supplier selection activities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver measurable cost savings, risk reduction, service improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Manage the full vendor lifecycle, including supplier onboarding, performance management, governance, quarterly business reviews, and issue resolution.
- Evaluate and implement AI-enabled tools and digital solutions that improve procurement effectiveness, business performance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Technology, Information Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to assess vendor risks and ensure adherence to privacy, security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop supplier performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor service levels, compliance, savings, and business outcomes.
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities through automation, analytics, AI technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six (6) years of related strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or vendor management experience.
- Experience leading sourcing initiatives and category strategies across technology-related spend categories, including software, SaaS, cloud services, telecommunications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and emerging technologies.
- Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies that produce measurable cost savings, operational efficiencies, and risk mitigation results.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, supplier performance, governance programs, and contract lifecycles.
- Experience supporting or negotiating Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), SaaS agreements, service contracts, and related technology agreements.
- Strong understanding of software licensing, cloud services, vendor governance, and technology supplier management.
- Experience conducting vendor evaluations, competitive sourcing events, and contract negotiations.
- Strong financial analysis, business case development, project management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and independently drive initiatives to completion.
- Ability to effectively communicate with leaders, business partners, and suppliers at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience within healthcare services, managed care, health insurance, or a highly regulated industry.
- Experience sourcing, implementing, managing, or supporting AI-enabled business tools, technologies, or solutions.
- Experience identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, analytics, or digital technologies to improve business performance and operational processes.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, vendor risk management, cybersecurity requirements, data privacy regulations, and security controls.
- Experience with SAP Ariba, procurement technologies, contract lifecycle management systems, or analytics platforms.
- Experience conducting supplier performance reviews and executive-level business reviews.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPM, PMP, or equivalent credentials.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $105,000-$120,000. Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and the comprehensive benefits outlined in the My Total Value section.
