Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-2:30 PM
• A Shift: Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 AM-6:30 PM, Thursday 6:30 AM-12:30 PM

Looking for Extrusion Support jobs in Alexandria where hard work drives every shift? This opportunity lets you help manufacture quality products, support production goals, and contribute to a team that keeps operations running safely and efficiently.

• Set up and operate extrusion support equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect aluminum extrusion products for quality, hardness, and temper requirements
• Package and load customer orders according to specifications
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
• Distribute baskets to and from extrusion press lines
• Support extrusion press operations when necessary
• Use measuring and inspection tools to verify product quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
• Meet production schedules while supporting customer satisfaction

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
• Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as an Extrusion Support.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
