Cancer Center Concierge

Every interaction can make a difference in a patient's cancer care journey. As a Cancer Center Concierge, you will serve as a welcoming and reassuring presence for patients, families, visitors, and staff while helping ensure smooth daily operations across multiple cancer clinics. This highly visible role is central to delivering an exceptional patient experience through hospitality, service excellence, and proactive support.

As a Cancer Center Concierge, you will be a trusted resource for patients, families, volunteers, and team members. No two days are the same. Success in this role requires flexibility, initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond thoughtfully to changing needs throughout the day. You will help remove barriers, resolve concerns, and ensure patients and families feel supported throughout their experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcome, assist, and direct patients, families, and visitors throughout the Cancer Center.

• Help patients navigate appointments, services, and clinic locations.

• Provide real-time customer service support and address concerns with professionalism and empathy.

• Coordinate and support volunteers while helping ensure meaningful engagement opportunities for patients and families.

• Assist with special activities and programs including art experiences, pet therapy visits, music events, and other patient-centered initiatives.

• Help coordinate supplies that support volunteer services and patient comfort programs.

• Partner with clinical and operational teams to enhance the overall patient experience.

• Communicate effectively with individuals who may be confused, frustrated, anxious, or in need of additional assistance.

• Identify needs proactively and take initiative to resolve issues before they become barriers to care.

This is an onsite, Monday through Friday day-shift position within a collaborative and mission-driven environment where adaptability, positivity, and exceptional service are highly valued.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent, Bachelors in Hospitality preferred

Experience: 3 years of experience; experience in hospitality industry such as hotel, restaurant, retail or similar, strongly preferred.

Licensure: None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently driving, traveling and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.
