| Essential Job Duties |
The Department of Information Technology, Analytics, and Operations in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek collaborative and innovative scholars specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service.
Position Responsibilities
Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction in Operations and Supply Chain Management at both the undergraduate and graduate (including MBA) levels, in online and in-person formats. Courses may include topics such as operations management, purchasing and supply management, logistics management, operations modeling and analysis, or supply chain management. Research: Develop and maintain a productive research program that leads to publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals. Service: Contribute to the academic mission of the department, college, and university through committee work, curriculum development, and professional engagement.- Perform other duties as assigned by the department head. Candidates must be a contributing faculty member to department and college service activities.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Candidates must currently hold a Ph.D., or have completed the requirements for the degree by August 16, 2027, in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

| Other Required Qualifications |
Candidates should demonstrate research and teaching capabilities consistent with a Research 1 university, showing strong potential at the assistant professor level or an established record at the associate professor level, with the ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels. |
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in research or projects.
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary research collaborations or industry partnerships.
- Proven track record of securing competitive research grants and funding.
