Our Core Values: Position Overview: The Sales Operations Analyst will support the commercial organization by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of customer plans, promotional activity, trade investment, and related commercial data. The role will serve as the primary operational owner of Trilliant's Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system and promotion-management processes, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Business Insights, and Commercial Planning. Success in this role means commercial teams can reliably answer what was planned, what was committed, what occurred, and what was spent without requiring extensive manual reconciliation. Responsibilities: Trade Promotion Management * Serve as the day-to-day owner and administrator of the TPM platform. * Establish and maintain standardized processes for promotion entry, approval, modification, and closeout. * Ensure promotional events accurately capture customer, SKU, timing, promotional mechanic, depth, planned volume, and expected investment. * Maintain promotion and trade-spend data integrity. * Identify missing, inaccurate, or incomplete promotional information and drive resolution with account teams. * Support system enhancements and process improvements that increase TPM adoption and effectiveness. Promotion Calendar & Execution Tracking * Maintain a consolidated view of planned and executed promotional activity across customers and brands. * Partner with Sales to capture customer commitments and changes in a timely manner. * Reconcile planned promotional events with actual execution where appropriate. * Establish processes to identify material differences between planned and executed events. * Ensure promotion data is available in a consistent format for downstream Analytics and RGM measurement. Trade Spend Administration & Controls * Partner with Sales and Finance to maintain visibility to planned, committed, and actual trade investment. * Support trade-spend reconciliation and accrual processes. * Identify discrepancies between customer plans, TPM, actual spend, and financial records. * Maintain consistent definitions and coding of trade activities. * Support reporting of trade-spend commitments and remaining investment. Customer Planning Support * Support development and maintenance of customer calendars and commercial plans. * Ensure approved pricing, promotions, innovation, distribution changes, and other commercial events are reflected in appropriate systems. * Maintain visibility to major customer activities and milestones. * Partner with Commercial Planning as that capability develops to establish integrated customer-planning processes. Commercial Data & Reporting * Maintain reliable foundational datasets supporting RGM and Business Insights. * Develop operational reporting around promotion status, trade commitments, TPM compliance, and data completeness. * Identify recurring data/process issues and implement sustainable solutions. * Partner with Business Insights to ensure analytical requirements are supported by appropriate underlying commercial data. Process Improvement * Document and standardize critical sales and trade processes. * Identify opportunities to automate manual activities and reduce administrative burden on Sales. * Establish clear ownership, timelines, and controls for commercial processes. * Support implementation and adoption of new commercial tools and systems. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related discipline, required * 2-6 years of Sales Operations, Trade Promotion Management, Commercial Operations, Sales Finance, or related CPG experience. * Experience with TPM systems strongly preferred. * Understanding of CPG promotions, trade spending, customer planning, deductions/accruals, and sales processes. * Strong Excel and data-management capabilities. * High attention to detail and process discipline. * Enforce standardized processes and data requirements. * Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to improve processes. Hours, Location and Pay: We offer a competitive base pay rate and benefits package for full-time employees. This role works Monday-Friday at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility. Physical and Mental Demands: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds. * Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
