Coho Integrated Solutions are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care services to officer trainees, cadets and staff members assigned to Officer Training School (OTS) and Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):



  • The contract provider shall assess medical care to assure its quality. All providers shall participate in a continual process of self-evaluation/peer reviews and strive for excellence in the clinic.
  • The contract provider shall complete all administrative tasks associated with the clinical position in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provides trainee health support.
  • Conducts medical record screenings and transcription of medical information into EHR. Assists with lab collections, administers vaccines, and provides medical support for outdoor/field events.


Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Citizenship:

    • U.S. citizenship is required for this contract position




  • Education and Licensure:

    • Graduate of a State Board of Nursing-approved LPN/LVN training program or completion of equivalent military training qualifying the individual to sit for the state licensure examination
    • Current, full, and unrestricted LPN license in a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification




  • Required Experience:

    • At least 24 months as an LPN within the last 36 months in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care/Emergency settings.




  • Required Skill and Competencies:

    • Knowledge of nursing practices, patient care procedures, medical terminology, and clinical safety practices
    • Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, customer relations, and patient advocacy
    • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, internet applications, and electronic health records
    • Ability to accurately enter and retrieve patient information from electronic systems
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel
    • Ability to recognize and appropriately respond to emergency situations




  • Work Schedule & On-Call Requirements:

    • Normal services are provided Monday through Friday between 0600 and 1800, with typical shifts of 0630-1530 and a 40-hour workweek
    • Weekends and federal holidays are generally not required except as part of the on-call rotation




  • Physical Requirements:

    • The employee must be capable of meeting the physical requirements associated with the position and assigned clinical duties, as identified at the time of order placement
