About This Role

The PeopleSoft Developer II - Data, Reporting & Integrations provides technical development and support for the PeopleSoft CS and HCM environments, with primary responsibility for ERP data flows, reporting solutions, and system integrations.

This position designs, develops, and supports secure, reliable, and scalable ERP data exchanges and reporting capabilities that enable institutional decision-making and cross-system interoperability.

This role works collaboratively with functional analysts, data operations, business intelligence teams, and integration partners to ensure accurate, timely, and secure information exchange across university systems.

Ensures technology decisions align with the University goals; system infrastructure is functional and efficient, builds data protection processes, and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs). Manages day-to-day technology and client service operations to improve infrastructure costs, performance, and user satisfaction.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and six years of relevant experience demonstrating proficiency in at least one object-oriented or procedural programming language such as Java, C#, or Python; working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts; basic understanding of web technologies including HTML and JavaScript; and the ability to read and interpret data models, entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), and system diagrams. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree preferably in technical or business-related discipline.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Five or more years of relevant experience supporting PeopleSoft CS and/or HCM environments.
* Experience designing and supporting ETL processes and enterprise reporting.
* Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and structured data modeling.
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical data and integration solutions.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
* PeopleTools: Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, SQR.
* Familiarity with PUM images and update processes.
* Fluid, Work Centers, Activity Guides, AWE, Data over DMS.
* PeopleSoft security / Unix / AppStream.
* Higher-ed environment experience.
* Understanding of Oracle PeopleSoft CS and/or HCM functional processes.
