Position Title: Assembly Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring for an Assembly role for a company in Whitewater, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Electrical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble and manufacture electronic components and circuit boards while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. The ideal candidate will have previous soldering experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assemble and manufacture circuit boards and electronic components according to company specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. Perform soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCB's) with precision and accuracy. Inspect assemblies and finished products to verify compliance with quality and performance requirements. Read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, schematics, and supervisor guidance. Utilize small hand tools, measuring devices, and precision equipment to complete assembly tasks. Identify electronic components and ensure correct placement and installation. Maintain production goals while meeting established quality standards. Troubleshoot and report assembly defects, inconsistencies, or equipment issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies. Complete all required safety, quality, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training programs. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Previous soldering experience. Ability to identify and work with electronic components. Strong hand-eye coordination and excellent manual dexterity. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Preferred Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or circuit board assembly. Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to perform detailed assembly work requiring visual accuracy and fine motor skills. Work Environment & Safety Manufacturing environment with assembly line production. Employees must successfully complete required safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Dress Code Closed-toe shoes are required at all times. Company-provided lab coat and ESD shoe straps must be worn when required. Full-length jeans or appropriate-length shorts and t-shirts are permitted in accordance with company dress code guidelines.
