Our Longview, Washington facility is a non union manufacturing plant with approximately 30 employees. The site specializes in producing polyurethane foam and other foam products. As a key location within FXI's manufacturing network, the Longview plant is known for its strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Team members work in a collaborative, supportive environment where continuous improvement and innovation play a central role.

Pay Range: $19-21/hour




  1. BASIC FUNCTION: Move material to designated areas maintaining balance and flow through department while keeping productivity and safety a priority.




  1. PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Safely operate forklift.
  • Move and scan material to proper location in work area.
  • Load/unload carousel.
  • Assist with inventory.
  • Maintain neat and orderly stacks of buns and or materials.
  • Scan material to correct location(s)
  • Control and monitor inventories (buns, racks, & finished parts)
  • Review daily inventory report (901) verifying un-located material.
  • Unload/load trailers as needed.
  • Verify conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
  • Follow 5-S and Safety policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.




  1. REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:


QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this task successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certified Forklift License; Valid Driver's License.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must use basic math skills to count foam components; Ability to read a tape measure in increments of 1/16 or more.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to solve problems in a practical manner.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills preferred, but not required.

QUALITY: Monitors own work to ensure quality.

QUANTITY: Meets productivity standards; Completes work in a timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.

SAFETY & SECURITY: Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

ATTENDANCE/PUNTUALITY: Is consistently at work and on time. Ability to work overtime as required.

DEPENDABILITY: Follows instructions, responds to management directions; Takes responsibility for own actions.

INITIATIVE: Volunteers readily; Asks for and offers help when needed.

  • Frequent average lifting 26lbs. - 50lbs. packaging supplies, empty pallets, & foam
  • Heavy pushing/pulling 50lbs. - 80lbs. blocks of foam

  • Working indoors in a production area with no exposure to outside elements

G. General Quality Requirements

  • Read, Understand and be trained on all related standard operating procedure and work instructions to perform tasks successfully and meet customer and QMS requirements.
  • For specific quality expectations for this position, reference related SOP's and work instructions
  • Be qualified to use appropriate measurement device(s) such as ruler, caliper, tape measure, to verify product acceptance and proper machine operation.
  • Constant visual inspection of materials and product to ensure acceptance
  • Set aside any material or product that does not meet specification for disposition by appropriate personnel (supervisor, quality representative)




  1. General Safety Requirements:


Fork truck certification, Safety glasses, & follow appropriate safe work practices.
