In the role of Policy Analyst, we'll count on you to:

Provide strategic and technical oversight of and or assist with technical reviews and provide guidance related to surface and groundwater modeling, water supply planning, agency coordination, and overall project implementation -
Experience with Arizona water resources and Colorado River policy -
Ability to work effectively in complex political and institutional environments and build trusted relationships with senior agency and stakeholder leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- A minimum of 10 years experience with water infrastructure and water related facilities or systems
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
- Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for the results
- Strong technical background and experience in guiding and formulating one water solutions and managing multi-disciplinary, geographically diverse teams
- Microsoft Office, digital delivery and design platforms, numerical modeling and simulation platforms, workflow augmentation and quality facilitation platforms
- Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
